The story behind a new out-of-home delivery model
2019 - 2020 : The early days
Founded in 2019 by Jessie Toulcanon, Samuel Rousseau and Florian Rives, Pickme empowers individuals by enabling them to become pickup points. Through its app, individuals can receive and store parcels for their neighbors while earning additional income. A smile, a coffee — small gestures that reconnect neighbors — thanks to Pickme, the first collaborative delivery platform built around local communities. By reducing failed deliveries and repeat attempts, pickup points also help ower last-mile carbon emissions. A model that benefits everyone.
2021 : Turning vision into reality
Just six months after launching its app, Pickme raised €1 million from Founders Future. The company quickly gained traction thanks to the support and trust of both its investors and carrier partners, including GLS, DHL and Relais Colis. Following its launch in Paris and gradual expansion into surrounding areas, Pickme expanded across the entire Ile-de-France region and into major cities including Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, Toulon, Montpellier, Nantes, Rennes, Rouen and Reims.
2022 : Acceleration
Pickme reached a new milestone by signing major strategic partnerships with La Poste – Colissimo and GEODIS, and completing its nationwide rollout across mainland France. This momentum was culminated in a €3.5 million funding round led by Founders Future, alongside OneRagtime, FrenchFounders and Kima Ventures, to support the continued scaling of the model.
2024 : Consolidating the out-of-home model
The Pickme x Colissimo out-of-home solution is now fully integrated into Colissimo’s OOH delivery options and available directly on e-commerce checkout pages, alongside post offices, parcel lockers and retail pickup points. The partnership with Relais Colis also expanded to include parcel drop-off and return services handled by individuals through Pickme’s pickup point network. In December, Pickme celebrated a symbolic milestone: 1 million connections created through its community-powered delivery platform.
2025 : Pickme becomes a national leader
This year marks Pickme’s rise as France’s leading social pickup point network, driven by the maturity of its model and the expansion of major strategic partnerships, including UPS. This recognition further cements Pickme’s position as a leading player in collaborative out-of-home delivery, advancing more efficient, more human and more sustainable logistics.
